Our Proposed District Plan Submissions
Our Kerikeri, Vision Kerikeri and a group of fantastic volunteers have worked hard on preparing submissions on behalf of the community to the Proposed District Plan, based on our responsibility to represent what we heard from the community in our consultation in 2019. This was translated into an agreed Vision and 7 Goals back in 2019 and have used this as a basis of our submissions.
A huge thank you to everyone involved and a special acknowledgement must be given to Vision Kerikeri who used their skills and experience to work extensively and complete the lions share of the submissions. Where our views diverged on matters, each group revised their submission accordingly. We could confidently say however that 90% of our views aligned across the groups and volunteers involved in the submissions.
