Understanding Spatial Plans
Q. What is a spatial plan?
A. A birds-eye view of how a community will operate and look over the next 30 years.
Q. What is included in a spatial plan?
A. Where and how we live, how we move about, where we work, what the community looks and feels like, how we can protect and maintain our environment.
Q. Why do we need a spatial plan?
A. So we can make the right decisions now to meet the needs of the current and future population.
Q. Who is creating the spatial plan?
A. Local council
